Girls die after trying to rob taxi driver;

TWO 17-year-old girls who tried to rob a cab driver were killed when he crashed, Los Angeles police said. After flagging down the cab, one girl said her boyfriend would pay, but he approached the car with a gun. As the driver sped off, one teenager slashed his face with a box cutter causing him to crash and throw the girls from the car.

The driver had minor injuries..
