It's time for Keith Hatfield to answer a few questions, at a meeting yesterday he announced to the world how he had saved York taxi's from extinction, securing a deal for four years at the station with an annual permit price of £1,090, plus an administration fee of £18,000 per year for himself,to protect the interests of the permit holders and so as not to share their work with any of the other drivers who have the sense not to buy a permit, they will only sell 111, so to the man who sits at the right hand of God please answer the following questions.

111 @ £1,090 =£120,990, which gives National Express their £100,000 plus your exhorbitant £18,000 leaves a surplus of £2990, where does that go, and where all of a sudden has the V.A.T disappeared to that you told us all that we did not understand,also if as you state it will be very time consuming to issue all the passes and deal with everything else surrounding the deal, while it probably will in the first year, as it is a four year deal, in years 2,3,and four you will be paid £18,000 for collecting 111 cheques, how much time does that take?

Once again your figures are inaccurate. All figures you are quoting include vat. IE £927.66 vat 163.34 Total 1090.00. You seem to have your own agenda with the figures. You make it up as you go along depending how it fits your agenda and reality is not important to you.
By the way the management charge goes to Station Taxis Ltd not me. If you think that you can do it for less and fit all of the criteria set by the Rail company. name yourself and your price and I will give you the job.

Threats work GBC do you honestly belive he would have let a cash cow go, now if the 111 come to there senses and say feck off we are not paying, he will be left in the sheet, and it would not be long before the taxis there are working for free

He's a fool for letting the drivers pay that much if he was such a good rep he wouldn't have asked the drivers to pay to work.

I think Mr hatfield made it clear that his reply in the other thread was his last word on the matter so I can't see him replying but you never know pigs have been known to fly

I could, 1st I would get rid of the con men at the top 2nd I would open the station to all hacks in York, thereby reducing the rental to next to nowt. 3 I would only charge £10.00 radio rent per cab, to cover office costs By doing the above there would always be a dam good supply of cabs for the public, so Keith, with a little common sense everyone wins. But Keith as most of the drivers including most at the station have said your head is stuck so far up your arse you cannot see daylight

You still need to come clean Mr Hatfield, how many shareholders have got a free permit, how about you as the big chief man of stn taxis ???, free permit and railway travel concessions???? all you have done here is off loaded the cost of these permits to the rental driver, as we well know now most Stn taxi driver rentals have somehow gone up 20 quid a week overnight, to pay the owner's share of the cost of the permit

On the contrary, my dear fellow, you are the ones with your own agenda,which one would suspect as being to rid the debt which station taxis are allegedly in by using the £18000 fees charged for administration in years 2,3,and 4. You also seem reluctant to give details of the requirements needed to earn this exhorbitant sum, as for me making it up as I go along your company has done that for years they are the ones who patented the quick moving goal posts.May I respectfully suggest that it is your figures that do not add up and as usual you have failed to give a creditable answer, nothing new there then.
