Just a guess but would you think this taxi had sliding doors? It is obvious with a conventional door if it is in the fully open position but not so with sliding doors. |

Whatever happened it's a fair bet he wasn't sitting in a seat with his seatbelt on.

At a guess, pi**ed up, drugged up.
And the driver didn't want a smack in the head if he went back.

My bet is the first one said stop by here drive I'm getting out but my mate is going to "wherever", as soon as the doors were open they decided to leg it. The driver spotted what was going on and put his foot down as the second one was getting out - OUCH!
On the other hand if he was sat on one of the back to the driver seats and was p!ssed, and the driver suddenly pulled off he might have over balanced and fallen out. But if I was the driver and he was the paying passenger! I think that I might have missed him and have gone back for him, strictly for the money. Nahh I think my first version is right. Plenty of cams around that area, funny that they do not know which cab it happened with, and that they never picked up the incident. |

Hmmmm I'd like to see more of the full story a quick look in the wing mirrors or the interior lights not cutting out is usually a good indicator of the doors not being shut Even if the passengers were trying to leg it trying to stiop them by driving off is DANGEROUS and any good cabby would never do somrthing that would endanger the passengers surely ? your licence is your livelihood and a prosecution resulting in a possible ban is to avoided if you value your livelihood |
