1. Thank you very much for your interest in the new Metrocab Hybrid.

2. It is expected to be launched later in the year.

3. We would be pleased to keep you informed and possibly include you in one of our feedback groups to drive our one of our test vehicles if you are interested.

4. We appreciate you taking the time and trouble to get in touch with us and to point us to the national taxi driver website.

Thank you once again and warmest regards

William Chia

it could be a pink battle ship for all I care as long as it sticks one up LTIs arse.
They have taken nearly 3 years to perfect this and have run it none stop for the last 18 months ironing out any potential problems, it will have an engine that is no bigger than a car wheel that charges the batteries and gives extra boost when in rural conditions, and a fully automatic gearbox

But will it have a turning circle?

Of course it will have a turning circle, if it didn't it would only go in a straight line.

I knew that, but skippy wants to outlaw the turning circle, for some strange reason.

Had a call from Mr Chia, today inviting me to test drive the new cab, and possibly testing it in public use :D :D
I have also found out that it will be priced at between 4 to 6k cheaper than the cheapest TX, in tests so far it returns in excess off 100 MPG, there will be only 1 version unless the PCO refuse to scrap the turning circle that the mayor and Cenex are going to demand, with conventional steering to keep cost lower :D
They would prefer to make one type only and they are also demanding the removal of the turning circle
