I can help anyone by telling them they would be wasting money doing certain things. But my sources tell me that when the council delimited X years ago they had around 120 licensed taxis, it appear since then that number has grown to a massive 87.

his heart is in the right place, but feel, like others, he's been a tad misguided. As you know I speak as I see, and IMO 99.9% of said union are sound people. Admittedly a tad to the left of Marx, but hey ho.

God! the next thing we know the 46000 phv drivers in london will want a cap on licenses! Make em do the knowledge that keeps the numbers down and you wind up with a service that is second to none |

Hi Captain, Hope you are well, I was present at a meeting with the lads from Bracknall, as always the GMB PDB will support its members in each area to try and achieve the aims of that membership. The GMB is a vessel which can empower drivers to have a say in their trade both locally and Nationally with the backing of a large National Union with over 600,000 members. I would like to point out that I do not considor myself an extremist to either the left or right, like my brother sussex said 'a bit boring' Regards BB |
