suppose like the smoking ban taxi drivers sat on a rank will be easy pickings, and they wont care if its below zero temperature

In Sweden that laws been around for years, it's not really aimed at traffic jams (as outside of Stockholm / Gothenberg there is'nt too many) but is aimed at drivers parking their cars up and leaving the engine running. A maximum of 2 minutes is allowed.

not long back one manufacturer started fitting a cutoff timer if the vehicle didnt move for a pre-set time, i think it was porsche, it gave % fuel savings, the car had some sort of auto-start when needed...
