Just curious, is the car park at Newcastle Central station closed off these days or is it Purely Parking and no longer Pick up and drop off, it used to give you some free time to drop or pick up. or has all that pick up and drop off moved to the front of the Station entrance??

PS the drop Short stay and dropoff Parkings now at the front of the station.

PPS ive given yer Order for wacky Baccy and A bonus Crate of some Nookie Smith to Customs and Excise..they say the Bottles are labelled in Polish but not to worry..Dziekuje.

The car park isn't closed but you'll be lucky to get a spot to be honest.

Your best bet is to wait behind the station (next to Stanleys Casino) until your fare is ready then drive round from there - it'll take you 2 minutes.

You can still drop off and pick up directly from the entrance - if you are nice and quick, but many also just use the bus stops in front of the station too to drop off.

After 11pm you're not supposed to drop off or pick up from inside the station and must use the bus stops from outside - however that rule gets broken all the time.

GBC is correct though, you may need to fight your way past all the Berwick sh!thouses that still take the p!ss day and night. Note: I see that Gateshead enforcement were out on Saturday -well done lads. C'mon Newcastle council - pull ye bloody finger out.
