Appeal To Trace Stolen Taxi (Highbridge)

Police in Highbridge are appealing for the public's help to trace a taxi which has been stolen from the town.

Some time between 6.30am on Monday, September 29, and 1.45pm the following day, Tuesday, the taxi was stolen from Morland Road, Highbridge.

The black coloured Peugeot Xpert cab has white stripes, taxi markings and AAA cars on the side.

It also carries Sedgemoor District Council Hackney Carriage plates front and back as well as disabled access ramps and is fitted with a taxi meter.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the theft or has any information as to the current whereabouts of the car.

Police would always recommend that people looking to take a taxi pre-book when possible and always check the driver is registered.
