The cost of my LPG has not come down yet. I rang the supplier, Flogas, to ask when it was likely to come down and was told that there were no plans to cut the cost because the wholesale price hadn't come down. I checked this online and found that the price had infact come down to the levels in May. The price has gone up by 8P a litre since June. Robbing b'stards.

The petrol companies say it takes 6 weeks for the price reductions to reach the pumps, funny isn't it when the price goes up the pump price goes up straightaway. |

And only a few weeks all the experts Predicted it would be £1.50-£2.00 a (anything up to £300 A barrel was bandied about) litre by the Autumn, Just goes to show that they really havent a bloody clue.. |

Brown tells petrol companies to cut there prices quicker at the pumps and he wants fuel prices to be lowered This was on the BBC 6 news

My guess is that if you generally get 10% further on a gallon of diesel than a gallon of petrol, the price for a gallon of diesel has been raised to 10% more than petrol to equal it out. Equality and all that.

Tesco are doing more damage to themselves that they realise, Diesel is still 117.9 on their forecourt whilst the small garages are down to 112.9 - I do not get my fuel there unless it is an emergency and will most certainly not shop there. With actions like theirs it is not hard to visualise what would happen if they manage to shut down other retailers - So! support the small man. |
