As we all know the world is full of characters, so it is no surprise that a Manchester cab driver turned a "whiter shade of pale" last weekend when his passenger informed him that he was a convicted murderer who had spent sixteen years imprisonment at her majesties pleasure back in 1966.
This reporter wouldn't know what its like to be alone with a convicted murderer but cab drivers are presented with this type of problem on a daily basis. Who envies cab drivers, certainly not me.
