As an ex school governor i must say where were the staff and why didnt the parents step in before it reached this stage, a child hiding during play time and they sent him there? the parents? and the staff have some serious thinking to do

But my God what is the world coming too when parents and teachers allow this ?????

My thoughts are with the child so blatantly let down by ADULTS and society

This is a tragedy and those responsible for this kid's safety should be hanging their heads in shame. Hard questions need to be asked, not just of the individuals involved but of the system at the school and the council as well.
Those responsible due to their actions or their inaction should be sacked and never allowed to work with kids again.

Of course the social services in birmingham were also to blame for the mummified boy in last weeks news, so basically its all part of the mail campaign.
