So we have a new trade deal with India but one of it's terms is that UK firms can employ Indian nationals without paying national insurance

So what do you think will happen ? Will we get 2 million Indian workers brought in to work in the Uk as they wil be significantly cheaper than British workers

By all accounts many countries have similar non-national insurance payment agreements. Which given that employers' contributions have recently increased for UK employees seems a bit unfair.

The problem we have is that some employers will go out of their way to employ cheap indian labour, and as there are 1.4 billion of them, they will have plenty to choose from.

People should read the full announcement from government before forming an opinion.

A reasonable point for those that believe a word this government says. Those that don’t may well take a different view.
