An Inconvenient fact to all you Bremainers that Europes largest Science project is Fech all to do with the EU at all.

Proof that Science will and can go on without the EU.

Much of the science in this country is funded by the EU though. If that funding goes elsewhere, the projects may also go elsewhere and the scientists will probably follow the funding and the projects.

a healthy scientific sector attracts quality university students and high tech businesses with lots of well paid workers who use taxis and lots of struggling students who also use taxis if we lose the science sector we could lose one of the most important sectors of our economy high tech manufacturing which brings in export earnings and plenty of paye tax to pay for NHS spending, schools etc

Overseas students funded by the EU, hence why the Universities still want to be in the EU.

We have had the same BS for donkeys years with the the Government claiming that we have to pay high salaries - otherwise we will get "The Brain Drain". We must pay, otherwise all of our best "Bankers" will go abroad  ....the world will be queuing up for them  It is not an endless pay cheque around the world for our supposedly top people, neither does everyone want to move to another country. The other point(s) being is that many scientists are in the pocket of the Government via high salaries and high budgets, they will do as their told and will not bite the hand that feeds them. Also take into account that it is one department that no government would allow to suffer, as it would have a massive effect on the economics on the country if they were left behind in whatever field.

More BS from the "Stay" brigade. #-o

Correction, it is funded through money sent from the UK through the interfering EU who then divvy it up amongst their own favourite boffins, we could end up with more investment in British Science if we missed out the EU middleman and sent it directly to our own research Boffins...The EU does what it always does, it takes our money, carves a bit off for itself then give a sizable chunk to some basket case country and if theres a few Bob left then they might send it back to Britain to be spent only on projects sanctioned by the EU.

You send the EU a full loaf and they'll send you only bits of the Crust back and then tell you how, when and where you can eat it..so, feck them all...I'm Out.

Why don't you ask the Government why they're keeping the cure for cancer under wraps? Maybe it's got something to do with the bonds the Government have with the Pharma companies.

Why don't you tell us which cancer they have a cure for which is being kept under wraps. There is more than one type of cancer or are you saying that they have a cure for all cancers?

Are you aware of a cure for cancer that we are not being told about?

It's been out there for the last 50 years, ask the Government why it's banned.

Why don't you ask the biggest drug dealers in the country "the Government" why they won't let it on to the market?

The Government don't like competition.

I've asked on several occasions seeing as I have a family member who treated himself for polyps cancer and is now clear.

Come on then don't be shy, tell us all what this miracle cure is. Researchers have spent billions on trying to cure cancer and you know the answer.

Researches haven't spent billions on researching at all, they're after saving billions because they can't patent the cure hence why it's banned.
