The wellies must be yellow or most certainly have a luminous appearance of whatever colour, that is very important as it makes them easier to spot in the dark . The other VERY important aspect is to make sure that the wellies are not above knee height , and are baggy at the top, so that they are easier to step into from behind - it also helps to stop the wriggling................so I am told
