Germany, as the biggest economy, is also the biggest contributor, Poland is the biggest receiver. The UK contributes much more than it receives too, about €4.7bn more. Why the gap? The UK is a rich country and the EU points out that although it spends less in the UK than the national contribution, the British economy gains much more from access to European markets and contracts. UK exports to the EU were worth nearly €12bn in September alone.

As of last November we the UK were paying over £50million "A DAY" into the EU.

How much per day were we getting from the EU?

Not as much as we paid in.

That reply means one of two things. 1, You don't know the answer. Or 2, You don't want to give the answer because it will show that being in the EU does not cost as much as you want us to believe.

There will be a referendum and the vote will be to stay in the EU i reckon...........why because during the campaigns around said referendum the facts will emerge.......its too late to get out............so effing change it from within =D> =D> =D> =D>

Right, now you have given the GROSS cost, how about taking off what we get back so that we have the NET cost which is the actual cost.

Nidge, you seem to know the costs of everything and the benefits and values of nothing.
