I never said anything about Israel being right, and you are correct about the plane being shot down by Russian rebels and comparing it with the deaths in Palestine, but that doesn't make those on the Gaza Strip any different to their murdering counterparts in Israel. They are all as bad as each other. It's just that the Palestinians are weak and less able to defend themselves, but you seem to think things would be different, if the boot was on the other foot and therefore, the Palestinians are fighting a just cause. Which is patently not the case.

If I am wrong in my statement, and you disagree, then what valid point are you trying to make?

I'm just pointing out, how it really is, without the false sentiment that anyone really gives a shi* about those getting wasted in Gaza.

Skull the people in Gaza are living in a concentration camp and the west are turning a blind eye to this.Israel continue to grab more land and declare their so called "wars".More like genocide to others.As for "flattening it" as you put it,do you think that will be the end of it ? When people are oppressed and forced to fight back they become "terrorists" ? as in Northern Ireland,South Africa ect.Theres no way forward with whats happening,theres got to come a time for dialogue or a deal of some sort.What gives Israel the right to develop weapons of mass destruction and not say Iran ? because the good old USA says its ok..

I agree with everything you say. However, if you know your bible (and I don't, btw) it says, "blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth" so the Palestinians have it all to come. Oh the other hand, the Americans believe that, the biggest boys with the biggest toys, wins. And I don't know about you Blackpool but my money is on the good old USA and the Israelis. Their world is not about total world domination. It's about acceptable levels of control and that's what they are doing now.

The west is not in the habit of shi**ing where it eats, it's all about control and the people being killed don't really matter that much.

So, me auld chum, you can forget about freeing Gaza or doing away with Israel, it's not going to happen in our life times, it would take, and I hate to say it, an act of biblical proportions. And that's exactly what these true believers (religious whackjobs) are waiting for in the Gaza strip.

Israel wont be given a free reign to murder forever,they will have consequences or have to speak and have dialogue sooner i hope rather than later.I disagree on "only the strongest survive" guerilla warfare can be a powerfull tool.Like America and the UK who really showed Afghanistan and Iraq some "shock and awe !" Thats really helped us no end.Theres no bigger terrorist organisation than the USA,and just for the record Skull i know feck all about religion,or want to for that matter.

You, and those on the Gaza Strip think in more absolutist terms than what they do. Theirs is a club of control that dictates different levels of survival depending who's in their club. Israel is in, and the interests that are served. Oh and I get the feeling the Palestinians are a long way from getting a membership. Sad but true, it's the way of the world.

And you can bet your boots. That's why the Palestinians are allowed occupation of the Gaza Strip. If the powers at be wanted them removed, and it served their interests, they could do it in a heart beat.

I just don't understand the real reason for allowing them to stay other than they are happy with the status quo

How do Hamas get their weapons? I doubt that they come in from Isreal. There is supposed to be a sea blockade to stop anything getting in that way. As I see it that just leaves Egypt. Any Views?
