Quite a few. The Scottish parliament elections were held at the same time, which was when the SNP achieved a majority in a voting system designed to stop that happening :D

In the 2011 referendum about changing the voting system. The system that your ex-leader says is broken. As I remember, those who voted (more than half the country couldn't be arsed), voted 2:1 for the system that was used yesterday.
How did you and your "left feeling ripped off" friends vote in that referendum? How many of them couldn't be arsed? #-o

Labour out
Liberals decimated

Not a bad result really

Tories get a proper majority

Let the fun begin!

You know what bothers me though, the Tories won 330 seats with a paltry 30+% of the vote   Hey Nidge that's only Double the share of what UKIP got, shocking :x

And you think the SNP will have a say in the House of Parliament? The Tories will be out to ruin them.

I think that you way off of the mark on that one. They will be coveting them on a big scale, Scotland have a very big caber to hit them with.....and they do not want that - it is going to be a very interesting time.

Tories 331

Labour 232

SNP 56

Labour+SNP 288

Your maths are bad, even on a bad day the Tories win

Don't forget George Galloway gone

Ed Balls gone

Mark Reckless gone

And I can't wait to hear what wee Jimmy Krankie has to say on the result.

So they voted to stop it happening yet they get seats in Westminster through exactly the same system they voted against? Sounds about fuckin right.

It's a win win for the Tories.

If the Scots are allowed to raise extra tax and/or any other Scots only provisions, then similar will apply in England.

Without Scottish MPs voting on English only matters, Labour will never get anything through, even if they do before the largest party some time in the future.

Think you'll find nearly two thirds of the UK didn't get the party it voted for, also the SNP only had candidates in Scotland which it gained just over 50% of the vote, Scotland's land mass is one third of the Total land mass of the British Isles, first past the post represents local opinion over national opinion recognising the obvious differences of thought, I say this way is more democratic than the PR system we use up here.

No excuses Nidge or any other Loser, fact is We Won up here, sadly they won down there, that's democracy, we up here though will be a massive pain for them down there, I'm thinking it's a win win for the SNP as we either deliver change or they (Tories) fail to honour their promises, interesting times ahead right enough

Sounds like a Wooden-top Lesbian with a head full of sawdust, and now an MP. Where was she dragged up, is she an example of an SNP member?

She's actually a 3rd year student studying politics, it's a good thing surely that our youth are represented at the highest level after all they are our future, Scotlands youth are politically engaged thanks to the SNP for giving 16-17 year olds the vote at Indyref, maybe UKIP could have benefited with the same stance, ok maybe not
