It just shows how unpopular an Empire it is when so many people in it, including actual Knights of the Empire, don't like it and want out of it. And it certainly wasn't popular in America which fought their independence from it, so God knows what Obama is going on about. And there's Sir Sean Connery - another one - though he's a long-term Nat die-hard. There is probably quite a few more as well. It doesn't really look good for the Union - there is just too much lying coming from their side and no actual arguments.
Apart from spouting historical miss and half truths - you now accuse the no campaign of telling lies. I'm sorry to say there is nothing but bluster coming from both sides - nothing in terms of facts whatsoever.
The latest is from Ian Wood - who Mr Salmond and the yes campaign embraced a few months ago - it was said "Sir Ian Wood must be listened to when he is talking about North Sea oil."
He has now said the white paper is between 50 and 60% out in oil projections - he has been obviously dismissed as another dissenter and the yes campaign state there is "a wealth of expert opinion on the huge scale of Scotland's long-term oil and other energy reserves".
very sad indeed.
