Are you sure?

BP have the licence to the Brent and Magnus oil fields. One of their drilling and exploration companies work there on a daily basis.

You have been on the grog haven't you? Even people in Jock land don't like the SNP, here's one from Thursday night, "My mums a Scot Nidge, and she hates the Nationalists, as do I. As for Sturgeon, well lets say, she would roast her alive."

Brent is a Shell field and it always has been. The viability has been falling for some years and the end of production is no surprise to anyone. It is a long time since it amounted to a considerable part of North Sea production and certainly won't leave the UK (as that's how things currently stand) with no oil. In fact it will make little difference to overall production. Decommissioning work will continue for the next two decades. Paid for in large part by the UK exchequer in the form of tax breaks, l might add.

BP sold their interest in many of their mature fields a few years back. Forties, for example, is now operated by Apache and is still producing well, thanks in part to new technology.

New fields are and will be coming on stream in the future. North Sea oil will still be here in 40 years time. Maybe longer. A declining resourse but far from a played out one.

More to the point, Scottish GDP without oil is almost identical to the rUK's. So, even if there was no oil, we would manage just as well as you would.

It would be Hell on Earth, They would be poking their sinister noses into every aspect of your lives, It would be just one step away from being a police state, they are aleady arming the police as a matter of course while stopping the public from even owning an air rifle, They want every child to have a state Guardian to ensure it's parents are toe'ing the line.

They want to Break up all the Large Shooting Estates no matter how many Jobs go with them, They want Scotland Blanketed in Wind turbines and managed by the Eco Police. They want to turn us into some sort of fechin Weird Shangri-la no matter how much it will cost while knowing full well we have not the internal means to pay for their grandiose dreams.

This lot are truly a threat to all the freedoms you currently take for granted..be afraid, be very afraid.

There's nationalism and there is progressive Nationalism, one of them wants to pull out of Europe, causing more economic devastation than you could ever imagine Bloodnock, the other offers every child the opportunity to reach their full potential, at no cost I may proudly add, one of them wants to Frack the earth you walk on, live on, farm on, fish off, feed off, causing more environmental devastation than you could ever imagine Bloodnock, the other wants to move away from fossil fuels and nuclear including trident, one of them wants to privatise our greatest institution, our NHS, including charging you to go and see your GP, causing more devastion to the working man's wage packet than you could ever imagine Bloodnock, the other wants to keep the NHS free, prescriptions free, wants to protect our most vulnerable and our elderly, they also want to tackle poverty and end austerity, whilst one of them wants/is to feed the rich to take away from the poor.

Now I could go on but I'll vote for the one that reflects my morals and values
