And I thought this was a taxi forum

It is dope havnt you realised that every decision taken by any authority regarding your industry is taken by POLITICIANS, and just maybe what those POLITICIANS get upto IN other areas might indicate what your in for in the future!

This is as clear an example as YOU COULD WISH as to why the MUGS in this industry are BOTTOM OF THE LEAGUE MORE HOURS FOR LESS MONEY THAN ANY OTHER WORKER

The problem is that some are more interested in the politics than the trade they earn their living at or used to you can just ignore the politics section if you choose and eventually people will get bored of the same old political arguments and get back to discussing taxi issues

Like you say, he doesn't have to read it. He probably thinks politics is boring and would rather speak about something else.

Then, like most people, he'll whine like a stuck pig when political decisions come to bite his ass.

I just think that on a taxi forum the majority of topics should be taxi related. If I wanted to read rants about politics I'd visit a political forum.

I've stopped reading the political threads unless there's something in the title that grabs my attention, but I also feel compelled to read them all in case I miss out on something interesting !
