Yesterday the French government won their case at the highest European Court agreeing that their banning of the wearing of the Berka in all public places is legal =D> =D>

Well done the French high time this country followed our European partners in banning this costume ...............i am very fed up that in london literally hundreds of persons prade around in this outfit which prevents you from identifying who or what is in your vicinity ............................not acceptable to me ................your views :?:

At last some common sense, from the European Court

It hides their identity ,
Did or did we not have Islamic bomber use a burqa to escape authorities in the Britain
That is one dam reason why they must not be worn in public.

With the Yanks wanting airport security stepped up, I think most airports should make all women remove any facial covering, if they refuse they don't travel

I'm with the French on this one, Unless someone is Mung bean Fugly there should be no reason other than on medical grounds for people go about hiding their faces regardless of what religion they may be.

If people want to dress in a Middle eastern manner then the Middle east is the place to do it..not here in 21st Europe.

Don't get to excited Skull, one day not to far off the fairer skinned of this country will be in the minority and the wearing of a Burka could become compulsory for all BRITISH women as the Britain we know today will no longer exist...We shall be ruled by Imans and not governed by MPs.

That same Poll you show will read the opposite, 61% for Compulsory Burkaship and 32% against..

Immigration isn't the problem but integration is. We are fast becoming a multiracial community and that's just the way the world is heading. :-|

As for religion, it has waxed and waned throughout the centuries, to the point, that many religions have all but disappeared. However, now there is a relatively new force in the fight against willful ignorance. Science and Atheism will eventually put paid to these ignorant medieval beliefs. =D> =D> =D>

Oh I wouldn't worry about Islam, as inevitably, it will go the same way as Christianity and the Dodo. In a hundred years or so, as science makes even greater discoveries, the inhabitants of this planet might be left wondering what all the fuss was about. #-o

obviously this garb must be banned many on the political left want it banned we arnt racist or against anybody's religious beliefs, what this is about is that this GARB is being used as a camouflage to prevent identification, so the question is why is that necessary? How do you feel late at night walking down a street and yoyr confronted by 2 or 3 persons wearing this, i will tell you ANXIOUS!

I am surprised that the thread about a very real threat to our security the Brits fighting for ISIS raises less concern than this, and i note the absence of wanna and nidge in either debate ..............................obviously they're flummoxed.
