The figures speak for themselves.
Number of votes at the referendum, 1,617,989
Number of votes at the election, 1,454,436
A fall of 163,544 in 8 months so that is a 20,443 drop per month. at that rate by the time of the next election they will lose a further 1,226,580 votes and be left with just 227,856 vote.

Sixteen year olds voted in the referendum, so that is where the difference is.

No Grandad it's grown by 5% since 2011 and by the same margin since the referendum, normally Scottish voters don't turn out at general elections but this time SNP supporters did, most turnouts where around 70%

Try 36/37% of the Scottish electorate voted snp?

Referendum: 85% of 100% x 45% = 37%

General Election: 1.48m of 4m = 37%
