They are the ones to blame. MP's make themselves available and then need 30 other MP's to support their nomination, naturally theres much wheeling and dealing involving promises of the House of Lords, cabinet positions , backhanders and threats of deselection, obviously if an MP is Union sponsored he'd be well advised to follow their views But of course many general secretary's of Unions dont always follow their members wishes had they done so John McDonnell would have been the leader of the Party in front of MILIBLAND and we'd now have a good Left wing government .....................oh well at my age who gives a flying fekkkkkkkkkk
