The country will grind to a halt within 7 days of brexit - take away the migrants, the healthcare would stop, the old folks homes would close, factories would close, the entire service industry wouldn't function.
the entire country has lost leave of its senses, we're treating Europe as opponents as opposed to our next door neighbours
The EU wasn't responsible for an awful lot of the sh*t that's happened, be it Rochdale, 7/7 bombings, Rotherham or whatever else.
Nobody in government is advocating taking away the working Migrants rights to work here nor their immediate dependents rights to stay here as well, all we seek is a simple reciprocal agreement and a guarantee that our working Expats living elsewhere in the EU are given the same rights to stay where the presently reside.
The Migrants here and our Expats there should realize that they live under the rules and laws of the host country they choose to live in, For example Poles here should not expect to live under the same EU rules and conditions as they enjoy here at present, all migrants should be treated in exactly the same way as other residents are in their host country are, there can not be special rules for EU citizens here just as there can not be special rules for UK citizens living in the EU.
Why the Bremoaners give the British government stick because they have not yet as yet promised the EU that its Migrants can stay in the UK is beyond me, the EU themselves are equally complicit by not promising British Migrants living in the EU the very same rights to remain in a post Brexit europe.
Indeed It's of the EU's own making this thorny issue EU/UK migrants because the EU point blank to Negotiate on any thing unless they get their Settlement cash agreed first....It's just as it always is with the EU, they'll do nowt to help anyone unless they get more money to finance their own Gravy Train first, typical of the bunch of greedy EU Barstewards that they are, it's all about them and all about them blaming everyone else for their own shortcomings.
We should leave immediately, no deal, no cash deal and accept in only who we want to work here and reject and eject those who want to come here as economic migrants and benefits passengers.
You have to be tough, but that does not mean we have to eject a single foreign worker from our shores, that's just how the world works, Working migrants are Important world wide but non working Migrants are just a bloody nuisance and a drain on our national finances, If such non working Migrants (Retirees etc) can prove they can support themselves financially without being a drain on their host nations benefits systems then that's fine, people can live where ever they want, but it's not fair to expect taxpayers from other countries no matter where in the world to pay the tab for non working migrants who just want to improve their lot by living where ever they choose at other peoples expense.
There..that's off me chest.
