I won't be voting for him. Having said that; The people in the streets were better off then, mortgages were plentiful, wages were good, the rich/poor divide was not nearly as large. Perhaps strikes/inflation/recessions had a silver lining. Oh! The national debt was a lot, lot, lot smaller. :-k
