I believe that the question asked was to explain the difference between how people pay for their care now and what is being proposed dumbass.

The Torys are going to cease the triple lock -

The Tory's are going to put pensioners through an embarrassing and demeaning means test to get a winter fuel allowance

People with more than £100,000 in assets will have to pay for their own care out of the value of their homes rather than relying on the council to cover the cost of visits by care workers.

Here you go.

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/20 ... rew-dilnot

Now do you think its right for people who have been paying national insurance and income tax all their lives to pay for their care (which they already paid for).

Personally I see this as attacking the old - just like the remain campaign did during the referendum - it appears to be a Tory thing.

How is care in a care home paid for at the moment?

No, you're the politician, you tell us.

Oh and your prime minister appears to have done an about turn on this particular manifesto pledge, like she did with the national insurance thing in the last budget.

Strong and stable indeed.

Ah, so you don't want to admit that under the current rules that people have to use their savings and assets to fund the care provided in a care home until they are down to their last £23,000 and that in most cases the property has to be sold before they die.

I do not think she has a plan about anything she opens her mouth and her tongue rattles on the wind, she appear to be making things on the hoof, and the public are seeing right through her, definitely in the deep end and drowning at a rapid rate of knots.

Labour is closing in for the kill, vote LABOUR.

Then that is also a disgrace - shame on ANY government that would allow it.

No person should pay for healthcare - that is why we pay tax and insurance.
