The man who has been covering for Grantham and Stamford MP Nick Boles while he’s been battling cancer won a seat in his own right.

In the Mansfield seat, Conservative candidate Ben Bradley ousted Labour MP Sir Alan Meale, who had held the seat for 30 years.


It is the first time in election history that Mansfield has turned blue.

Mr Bradley had been holding surgeries in the Grantham and Stamford constituency, while Mr Boles, who retained his seat, underwent treatment for cancer.

The Mansfield results in full:

Ben Bradley, The Conservative Party Candidate, 23,392

Alan Meale, Labour Party, 22,335

Sid Pepper, UK Independence Party (UKIP) 2,654

Meale has been on borrowed time for at least 5 years, you never see him out and about, you never see him in the HOC, he uses it as a meal ticket. He treats the people of this area with such disdain its unreal.

His face on the count was something I'll treasure. He nearly killed our football club along with the chairman of the club at the time Keith Haslam, for that I'll never forgive him

Any serving labour MP with a knighthood has to be a @ss licking back stabbing c@nt it stands to reason.

One would expect you have the same sentiments towards every Tory MP. who has a knighthood or in their case you condone it.

I don't condone it at all I just have lower expectations for Tory MP's.

INDEED the question is why did the local party select him ............the answer their THICKOS PAR EXCELLENCE that SH!T ole is UDM territory ie fookin SCAB territory
