Secretly Europe is filling its pants at the prospect of the UK leaving this overpriced club...

Lets have migrant workers...on our terms, let in those who will work, not the other 2/3rds who want to soak the country, maybe there will be jobs and housing when the loafers go back home

No Europe is wringing it's hands with glee at the prospect of the biggest ever divorce settlement in history. They would love to get rid of us especially as we will be handing over billions of pounds and agreeing to take as many immigrants as they can push on us

If we want out we must buy our way out and that price is VERY high

the EU represents only 16% of the global market...

The UK must represent a ferking huge slice of EU car sales....

It is apparent from recent news reports that large food retailers in this country do not know what is in the meat products they sell,Europe is using us as a dumping ground aided by these large multi-national companies.
Eat only British farm foods to be safe.

If the British Veggie and fruit Farmers, Food producers and other employers hadn't stopped paying the home grown seasonal work force a decent wage years ago they'ed have still be using them instead of taking on Johnny foreigner for peanut wages then none of these shotages would have occurred, the same goes for the Trades, they took on cheaper foreign joiners, plumbers etc that worked for less over our local established tradesmen who were charging more but at least putting through youngsters for apprenticeships, this has now made us more dependent on the EU cheap skilled labour as we have put ourselves in the position where we have almost no indigenous tradesmen in apprenticeships or skilled UK workers left who can plug the skills gap for at least another 5 years.

As for the farmers and food producers It's a mess of their own greedy making.

Are you saying that the overseas workers are being paid less than the minimum wage?

I would be amazed if they weren't.

But that's not the issue, the issue is 10s of 1000s of foreign folk have kept the rates of pay down for 100s of 1000s of UK folk.

The minimum wage is not what any of us should be aspiring too.

No, I'm saying that they worked for less than a British worker would have worked for across the spectrum of wages, now that does not mean less than minimum wages (though I'm sure a few would have done).

But regardless of the wage band a British worker traditionally fell into the foreigner workers would have done the job for less and still felt they were far better off than in their own low paid country of origin..after all your not seeing migrants from other nations who are used to enjoying higher wages and living conditions such as germany or france..no, your seeing the polish, Latvian and Romanian types more used to low wages lower living standards coming over here and undercutting our wages at every level and salary tier.

Would you be happy if your profits took a nose dive because your opposition paid lower wages than you simply because they used eastern european drivers who were quite happy to work for less than you pay your drivers irrespective of where your drivers may come from and in doing so reduced their prices making your firm uncompetitive to the point of losing clients ?

Like I say, it was Unscrupulous employers that created the problem and it is still these same employers bemoaning and falsely perceiving a shortage of low paid Eastern European lackeys that will work for their miserable wages in the future...pay peanuts get monkeys.
