Anyone else thinking of joining the Brexit party?

I’ve joined today, and intend to become an activist for the cause.

Had enough of sitting there seething, got to do something.

£25 to join. Time for change.

Will there be a candidate in your area standing in the EU elections? If not how far will you travel to help someone else's chances? it could be quite a long way.

Of course you could stand yourself. You will need £5,000 for the deposit though.

The East Midlands is a big constituency, and probably pork pie City is part of it.

despite all the shouting and razzmatazz I cannot see a new party starting from scratch and winning loads of seats in an election only 6 weeks later

I believe everyone should abstain from voting in the EU elections whether you are a remainer or a leaver to register our disgust in ALL politicians.

Not sure I would join them, or pay money.

But if they are standing in my area (almost certain) I would vote for them in the Euro election if May is stupid enough to not have it sorted by then.

Was pleasantly surprised at the poll in the Express (yes the most pro Brexit national) which showed of the 20,000 people who indicated who they would vote for in a Euro election, 82% would vote for Farage's Brexit party.

Thing is with the EU areas they are vast, and folks are elected by proportional representation. Thus it will be very easy for Farage to get elected, as long as he is at the top of his list.

There is a massive surge of distaste for the Tory/Labour 2 party system, the GE will be interesting, UKIP and Brexit shouldnt fight the same constituencies and should target the areas considered marginal and/or which showed a strong leave vote in the EU referendum, the last 2 years since the EU vote have shown how the snakes in Westminster only want to line their own pockets.

Westiminster and the EU are akin to the Premiership and the Champions League, our MP's want to play at the higher level at our cost

Defeats the object of the whole thing, someone will still vote and someone will still win....may as well use your vote even if its for an obscure Green Wellies for the old party...it's at least a protest vote.
