I think at the next General Election things will go back to the two party system.

The Brexit Party and the No Brexit Party (or whatever they call themselves now) will have a good EU election if it happens, but once Brexit is sorted things will go back to normal.

Big benefit of that, to me, is the end of the likes of Soubury in the commons.

I used to like her when she was a TV reporter. Not keen now.

despite all the shouting and razzmatazz I cannot see a new party starting from scratch and winning loads of seats in an election only 6 weeks later

I believe everyone should abstain from voting in the EU elections whether you are a remainer or a leaver to register our disgust in ALL politicians.

Defeats the object of the whole thing, someone will still vote and someone will still win....may as well use your vote even if its for an obscure Green Wellies for the old party...it's at least a protest vote.

now that I agree with an abstention is a wasted vote although if faced with a choice of only labour or Tory candidates not much chance of a protest vote

PS when was this general election everyone is talking about called can'yt believe I missed that big a news story

Anyone else thinking of joining the Brexit party?

I’ve joined today, and intend to become an activist for the cause.

Had enough of sitting there seething, got to do something.

£25 to join. Time for change.

Paid my £25 and joined up, and I don’t do politics, so I will class this as doing my bit for the cause.

and that is the problem there isn't a cause to chase just lots of different visions of the shape of Britain's future some from misguided over emphasis on special interests some an unachievable ideal

That is why i think this Brexit party which is UKIP mark 2 won't make any difference

I’m supporting the brexit party in protest against the Remainer elite’s push to stop Brexit, in the local election I have a choice labour or conservatives, no raving looney party, so I won’t be voting.
