So Boris is 'proroguing' parliament and the remainers are having a right hissy fit.

Interesting that between 70 and 80% of the time, he has suspended parliament, it wouldn't have been sitting anyway due to the conference season.

But the hissy fitters don't get that.

This Proroguing parliament is par for course and very normal, indeed it's well overdue, sadly the bremainer MP's are trying to pull the wool over the eyes of their small minded Bremain supporters by telling them that this is all about Brexit when in reality it's only heralding the end of one parliamentary session and preparing for a new one, and as you say if you remove the three weeks of Party Hotair conferences then this prorogue is no longer than the normal ones.

but the timing is very convenient and if the threats to set up an unofficial alternate take place will we not be technically in civil war

A treasonable act. Carries the death penalty. Happy to be executioner.

The thing is we already have the legislation passed for a no deal Brexit.

So the option is a deal that passes the commons, or no deal.
Or a new bit of legislation preventing us from leaving. In my opinion, if it is getting to within say 6 weeks of the end of October and we still don't have a deal, Boris will call a general election which , in effect will stop any new acts of parliament being passed until after the election which means that the default position of leave can't be overturned.
