Looking good. Fourth defeat for labour. Icing on the cake would be Swinson losing her seat.

Corbyn will no doubt claim a great victory.

Amazing if true, which in all fairness they usually are.

Little disappointed about the SNP getting loads more in Scotland, but hey ho.

I'm just desperate for my local commie c*** MP to be booted out.

But my biggest delight is that we will be able to leave the EU, at last.

Brexit, no matter which side you are on, has dragged the country down, and we all need to move on.

Statement from a senior Labour Party member

“ We, of course, knew this was going to be a challenging election, with Brexit at the forefront of many people’s minds and our country increasingly polarised.
But Labour has changed the debate in British politics. We have put public ownership, a green industrial revolution, an end to austerity centre stage and introduced new ideas, such as plans for free broadband and free personal care. The Tories only offered more of the same “

How could labour get it so wrong over Brexit?
Then again, with Corbyn and McDonnell in charge, it’s easy !!! #-o

Because they are led by a bunch of champagne socialists who only have ears for lovey doveys.

That said, Corbyn has always been a leaver and should have known better.

A few did, but most got it there or there abouts.

The gap between the Tories and Labour was about 11 points. Most polls had it about 10 points, with some 12-15 points.

So on balance the pollsters got it right.
