So Rishi Sunak and Sajid Javid both quit the cabinet is this game over for Bojo ?

I think we are going to see a challenge to Bojo for leadership of the party or will Bojo call a snap election to stop that happening

Interesting times with the labour party on the verge of a leadership change as well

Maybe it is time for Boris to go, basically many of the MPs he got elected want a new leader.

What it needs is a Blue/Tory leader, not a Green/Tory leader.

Sadly the more trendy Tories think they'll get more votes for being Green.....but that's only because the minority ultra green fruit loops are much more vocal than the more passive Blue Tory majority are.

so he's finally caved to the pressure and resigned as party leader

BUT he's staying on as PM

Do not think that is correct, he has resigned P/M position.

no he's staying on as PM until October/November time to give the party chance to elect his successor

what should have happened is he went completely and Raab took over as caretaker PM

Watch this space. I don't think he will be the PM for much longer.

John Major has backed him so I think that will persuade many MP's to go with this rather than go to all the trouble of trying to change party rules

mind you he was spotted today outside the job centre https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-lancashire-62081426
