So Lizzies first action is to oust Sunak and Johnson supporters from the cabinet and appoint her backers

doesn't the silly moo realise that the best way to unite her party is to give jobs to people across the board and effectively offer a big olive branch to rival factions

So you would tell your main supporters "thank you for your support but you can't have a nice job."

She needs to stamp her authority, and by putting in place her people, and by binning Boris's and Sunak's people, she has.

I would do the same.

personally i think this cabinet will not unite the party and nearly half of them have no previous cabinet experience the civil servants will be rubbing their hands together with glee

I have noticed a few tweets from lefties who don't like this cabinet so that says something but I think this signals a move to push the party away from levelling up and that might not be a good policy long term as it gives the Corbyn's and MacDonald's of this world a boost and if they get power heaven help our economy

I'm not sure many civil servants are jumping for joy at Liz becoming PM.

As for uniting the Tory party, most MPs love being MPs, and if they start causing trouble getting closer to an election, many of them will no longer be MPs.

well there we are; she tried to run before she could walk and restricted government to her own clique and I don't think she had a clue at what that might bring

as Alf Garnett would say …

… Silly moo
