In our area i would say the most leaflets was the tory candidate but it was noticeable how few vote conservative placards and banners were about. the lib dems made a bit of an effort the rest were a single token leaflet otherwise invisible.

Certainly nothing to influence me locally

As far as national campaign has gone I think reform Uk have come across the best with the dirty tricks against them by the tories making me even less impressed by them.Starmer has come across as a man desperate for you to believe his lies the Lib dems as caring but clueless and the greens as well rehearsed marxists.

Get what you mean about Starmer - this elections his to lose, so he's probably nervous.

The Conservatives seem to have pretty much thrown in the towel. Reform will likely take votes from them, in which case they could have a disaster on Thursday. They've largely themselves to blame.

Slightly different in Scotland. SNP has by far the most MPs but they're coming across as tired and defensive. I thought they might turn a corner when they ended the coalition with the crackpot Scottish Greens. But no - they brought back a leader from 20 years ago who's been described as an undertakers assistant. Not sure if same-old will cut it for them either on Thursday.

Heard an interesting view on R4 last night: if Labour wins but doesn't deliver any significant improvement, the next GE (after this one) might see voters losing patience and going far right, like some European countries.

I think that will happen regardless of what Labour do.

The Tories will have a more right-wing leader after the election, and they will attack everything Labour do, especially over immigration and any closer ties to the EU.

The only way the Tories will get votes back from Reform is to copy their policies.

As for Labour, given the way the world is nowadays, having a boring plank as a leader means, IMO, it will be a one-time government for them.
