SO Southport was the catalyst for extensive protests across the UK with many arrests for confronting the police and the migration infrastructure.

Is beer starmer right is this organised violence or are people frustrated at the lack of any pauses or let up in the rates of mass immigration ?

My personal view is the latter because the rent a mob thing has been around since before the internet and Starmer is using the "right wing thug" label to stifle and suppress the debate.

Whilst I understand the basics of why Blair and those that followed introduced mass immigration has anyone actually taken stock of whether it has worked or is actually costing the country more in the long run. ? I think this is the debate that needs to be had before it is too late

You can mass debate if you like, but it’s too late. Much too late…

IMO the PM has not handled this matter well, and that may cause problems in the future.

A lot of people did some really stupid stuff, and they will pay the price for it.

However some of the issues behind a lot of the nasty stuff needs to be addressed, and I'm not sure the PM is up to the task.

This ^

Looting shops, torching cars and spreading false info to egg others on is 100% stupidity and a criminal justice response is always going to happen. No debate - FAFO. Remember Keir Starmer was head of the CPS in 2011.

If he has any sense, he'll task the Home Secretary/Office to find long-term resolutions - that's their job.
