It seems that Labour are blaming the Tories for everything, the latest being covid.

Now the Tories didn't do too well, partly because they didn't do much Tory stuff, but getting the blame for covid is a little bit of a stretch. [-(

For anyone with a functioning memory, Labour wanted the lockdowns to be even more draconian than they already were. Mullins, the Pimlico plumber is off to live in Dubai, and who can blame him, and anyone else with the means to escape the country. When Steer Calmer said he would stop the boats, we can now see how he intends to do it.

Of course, it’s the tories who have fouled up the NHS, according to starmer the charmer.

Nothing to do with Blair giving us the 0800 fastest finger first game, and back in the day, giving gp’s a massive pay rise, whilst telling them they don’t have to do house calls or work weekends…

Starmer says he will cut the waiting lists for the NHS. Is the plan for thousands of pensioners to freeze to death so that they don't use the valuable NHS resourses?

The service available under the NHS changed at the start of covid since then death rates in the UK have risen and stayed above normal levels. I don't think Starmer is doing much different the government wany pensioners to die off in larger numbers to reduce the cost to the state and to increase the inheritance tax revenue.

Don't forget there are very few pensioners in parliament

There are probably more than you think. At least 10% of them are over 66.

Ironically, Labour are doing the financial things the Tories could well have done if they hadn't spent so long playing slapsies with each other.

That said, I think Labour probably have until the budget to use the last-governments-fault card. After a 14-year Tory run, it's justifiable for a while but not forever.

It is all boillocks. Every time there is a new Government they always say the same things. "It is the fault of the prvious administration," "we never knew about this that or the other."

At least you're only likely to hear that excuse for a few months - since 2007, all the problems up here have been Westmonster's fault (apparently).

And the NHS is failing down to the Tories.

And they are not getting any extra cash unless they reform.

I think I've heard that every year since Maggie resigned.
