The latest rumor is that Salford have agreed to do a survey, and will not issue any licenses for three years.

I have my doubts, but that is todays rumor. Should find out on Tuesday... don't hold your breath.

It seems as though Greater Manchester (10 Boroughs) have been piloted for a new "super city" experiment by the Government. This could explain a lot of things.

The rumors have now become about a GM Plate, which according to the trade will be based on the London Green/Yellow badge model.
