Only three responses on such a delicate subject and none from the private hire sector, is that apathy or what?

Twenty six on the waiting list might suggest a further issue. The problem is this, will councillors draw the conclusion that the cost of a survey every few years is too high a price to pay? An offer from cab owners to pay for any future survey might persuade councillors to maintain the status quo.

Everyone knows I'm not well, lol

I'm just being objective, if they deregulate without any quality controls and Salford do the same then Manchester might have a major problem with illegal plying for hire, especially now we've had confirmation that half of the third world is descending on Manchester to become private hire drivers.
