Ahh.But..

I said 'mixed HC fleet' not 'mixed HC/PH fleet!'

Sorry, I'll stop being a smartar$e now..... I meant we had saloons and WAVs licensed as HC in the borough.

About 200-250 HC, 30-odd PHV.

Dereg about 2 years ago.

How come were limited here and ph are still expanding then ?

Because new entrants have a choice to pay £50,000 for a piece of plastic or nothing for a piece of plastic.

If your council delimited then the increase in PH would diminish.

What do you expect?

Not so sussex !wrong again, because it doesnt cost nothing to be a ph here. You buy into each company with varying prices. Before trying to hard with the smart answers try and do your research properly.

I think you'll find that's what Sussex means. It costs nothing to be PH but because you're limited you'd have to buy an existing license if you wanted to be a HC. I also think that the only way the PH would stop increasing is if it was a mixed fleet on delimition, which is highly unlikely at present

Do you mean all the PHs in Blackpool are co-operatives?
