Mr T there is load of development going on in liverpool at the moment. the paradise street shopping centre . Buts its mainly the roads , being up graded that affects me , lime street , tithbarn street . This wont of course affect you, because i dont think you do ,that much driving ,you are one of those who works a few hours a day ,clogs the city centre up,just in case they do another survey. Being subsidised by your night men slaves and your other cabs . Tell me what i have said that is untrue? I can see why , Mr t was not the brains in the A team .

SUSSEX & T.D.O.

I love you two. As long as you two are about, I know I will not have to get back behind the wheel ,but with my money & assets I dont think that is likely!!but then I have never been afraid of working unlike you two, I think one hard day would probably kill you ,Streecar how much of liverpool city centre is being PEDESTRIANISED ??how many ranks are going??do you think maybe the fact that TRAMS are coming to liverpool might have a bearing,oh I think the plans are on the liverpool web site...mrT ..

Hmm...well that seems to mean that we are spot on about you.

Funny, with all that money and assets, all your cabs and you not driving, you seem like just the kind of person that Mr Angel used to bleat about.

I thought we were the same people.

I think the point being made is that it's a bit rich those not driving, telling us that do, what's right and wrong.

You sound more like the bus and tan folk of the T&G.

Just one thing Mr T , if someone opened up a private hire ,taxi office in liverpool city centre, because strange as it is ,its the only city in the world , that has not got one .then your plates ,will become worthless . The O F T recomended that local aurthorities ,introduce compertition, into the taxi market .What would you pay 18 pounds, in a hack or 10 pounds in a private hire . sell sell Mr T the bubble is about to burst . Trams big talk, like the cloud, Evertons new ground at kings dock . need i go on .

You are right there!

There is absolutely nothing for Liverpool Taxi drivers, bet a fiver when they bring the european cup back home, nobody will turn out to wave them on.

Just one little question if I may, supposing I was to open a private hire office in Liverpool  who the hell would I get to work in it?

how many bouncers would it need? how often would the mafia and tryads call for thier insurance? would the yardies leave me alone?

I GUESS THERE IS A REASON AS TO WHY THERE ARE NO PRIVATE HIRE OFFICES IN LIVERPOOL, and there is also a reason why the drivers of cabs are kept away from customers.

but cannot guess for one minute what it might be

I suspect Sussex is thinking there is only one reason that keeps you from getting behind the wheel and that is your local council. If it wasn't for them maintaining a restriction on plates I doubt very much you would have a viable business. That's why you are chit scared of the domino effect.

I wouldn't mind betting Sussex sleeps sounder than you at night time, it must be quite a burden knowing that you can go to bed one night thinking you have an artificial investemnt of thousands and wake up the following day with nothing.

If your council ever decides to change its policy you could always buy four or five cabs in another restricted authority such as Liverpool, thats's if you have 40 grand for each plate and another grand for each shed.

Mr T i must say i am sorry , for thinking, you were a Liverpool taxi owner . It transpires that you are in fact ,the owner of sefton rust buckets ,not quite the same thing , as you know . I was under the impression , you were a taxi baron . Even i could buy one of them .Pity there is not a web cam of bootle . YOU have my utmost simpathy . When London bins a taxi , Liverpool buys them , after we bin them ,leave them on the scrap heap, for a few years ,sefton hackney owners buy then .ONCE AGAIN SORRY FOR THE MISTAKE STREETCAR.

Doesn't this just show up those cab drivers that want to keep plate restrictions.

They can't quite grasp why other cab drivers think that taxi quotas are wrong.

But then in relation to Liverpool, most cab owners aren't cab drivers.
