jeeze, i sent you what i had just after 7pm tonight and its not here yet?

I've also attended a TOA meeting, jumped one or two high buildings with a single bound and found the cure for a number of previously undiscovered diseases.

I though the internet was quick!

Yes, the internet may be quick, but unfortunately we're not quite up to that speed yet :(

But it's much appreciated Captain, I think you should be promoted to Admiral :D

Surprised no comments made on the select committees questioning of the NTA, T&G and critisism of the OFT

Having watched the session, I feel the only comment worthwhile, is to state that five of the six committee members didn't have a clue about the CAB game. The only one who new what he was talking about on that comittee was Graham Stringer the Manchester MP.

Excluding Graham Stringer, the questions asked showed just how poorly informed these members of the Transport committee really are, it is a sad indictment of our Parliamentary system when we can produce morons like these to run our country.

Best wishes.

John Davies.

John,

That may be true but it would probably be of advantage to some of the trade to keep the select committee in the dark.

I think it's also fair comment for myself to say that some of the people giving responses to the OFT havent got a clue about the trade either and these are the people supposed to be resresenting us!

Ther morons can of course be kicked out at each election, the morons in the trade can't.

Regards

I agree with your comments entirely, I was very dissapointed in the standard of the committee and I was equally less impressed by the ineptitude of the representives of the OFT.

I watched it 3 times and i'll probably watch it 3 more times lol but god was I dissapointed.

Best wishes

That was the one thing that was lacking..............Real Cab Drivers and it certainly showed.

If anyone hasn't viewed the video and wants to? I'll post the link with details on how to get to the archive.

Best wishes

Ok heres the link to the larchive feed.

http://www.parliamentlive.tv/Archive.aspx

When you get there change the top field to read Jan 28 and the third field to read Committees, then hit search. You will get a list of events up, just move along to the 28 Jan and click on the feed. Obviously the more memory you have and the faster the connection the better the viewing experience.

Good Luck.

well that was a [edited by admin] take comment but why not?

there is no reason at all why this forum should not move into things like this, with solicitors, accountants and former licensing chairman regularly contributing on here we have the expertise to field the expertise to help law makers.

wed look stupid though if we put a dustbin forward.

Why not indeed.

But what could we all agree on?

The time of day, the weather, lunch? :?
