If we are talking about the same case,(J.T in Stockport), was it not overturned on appeal? Though I must say he does not appeal to me.

I wasn't aware it was overturned, perhaps I forgot. If he hadn't had argued with the bobby he wouldn't have gone to court in the first place lol

The story that I was told, and I always believe whatever he says, was that he was returning to the Airport through Stockport when he was stopped by a police patrol. They had just pulled a P.H driver for an illegal pick up. He was asked to take the passengers home. A couple of miles further on he himself was then stopped by another patrol, and when he told the story they laughed and booked him. Initially he was found guilty but on appeal it was overturned. The Judge or Magistrate saying that if the police request you to complete a journey there are not many who would argue and surely there should have been some liason with the police before charges were laid..... I would have sent him down personally.
