All ph here work for companys where the majority are mixed fleet hackney and ph.There is a few that are ph only and vast majority cost money to get into via shares.Can be up to 5 or 6 grand

But what do they get for their 5/6 grand How much do they have to pay on top of that each week for settle?

One circuit in Carlisle is due to go to £100 per week in January........and thats without many PHV's.

you pay as they have varying levels of work,you can go it alone but youd struggle.As i said to many taxis and ph here allready so we dont need dereg

It's not so much the settle that I find strange but the amount of settle after you've paid 1000s of pounds to join. What do the drivers get for the initial payment?

Nobody pays to join.....they pay £100 per week and get work as allocated.

You think you can just take your vehicle to any company and pay 100 quid a week ? You buy shares to join them as i said before then you pay a rent/settle each month

ive never had to "invest" in any circuit, the weekly rent is what you pay, anything else is a scam

Why is it a scam you pay into it buying shares,you can resell them when you leave.The better companys have better work,hotels,casinos and the like.

whats in the T&Cs of the sale of the shares?

the resale value depends on anyone wanting them, the circuit will sell shares so you will have to undercut the base to make a sale, after 10 years will they be worth anything? is the base a ltd company? who is in charge, a director or joe bloggs?

surely the "smart money" will go to the non-share bases?

do share holders (and id love to see the share documents), having paid £5K for thier "slot" PLUS £100 a week base rent, and as a shareholder, get to sit in at shareholder meetings and do they get to see/be part of tendering applications?........
