anyone know a decent legal advisor?

Well you could certainly do with one given your interpretation of the 1847 Act.

Has the matter been resolved yet?

I think he's been reading the Derek Cummins book on how to become a professional Taxi driver?

I can already hear the pitta patta of Mr T's abnormal feet running to defend the honour of his mate Mr Cummins.

I wonder if the T in Mr T stands for Mr Taxitalk lol.

Regards

JD

John,
its about time you learned that myself and T are taxi drivers and allied and dedicated to this trade,

wemake our living from it and as this is a taxu drivers site deserve a bit of respect.

we dont live off the backs, like you professionals do.

take the [edited by admin] all you want we actually do the job we say we do, not sprnd all day making phone calls to create difficulty for people who work to eat.

think its about time you cut it out.

Considering you are the deputy Editor of Taxitalk magazine and along with the Editor you are responsible for its content then I can only assume you or someone who writes for you is the author of the misguided tripe that was penned by "Mr. Local TOA".

Considering your penchant for misrepresenting the facts then until such time you disclaim the article wasn't written by you or the editor, then by default you will be held accountable for the content.

I thought for a minute that I had stumbled into a script conference for "Colditz"....
"then by default you will be held accountable for the content", accountable for what for God's sake. What exactly are you going to do, have the bounder shot at dawn. Lighten up old bean, your bellicose attitude is becoming tiresome.

The world moves in mysterious ways and your sharp tongue is no indication of a keen mind.

May be not quite as sharp as yours Cypher, but then according to one person on here your intellect is non pareil, the only problem being that you are that one person.
One of these days perhaps we can have a meeting of minds, but that would of course necessitate you stepping into the light. Therefore I don't think that it will happen.
I have said it before and I will repeat myself, anybody will point you in my direction, just come and say hello to a fellow cab driver. We might be able to swap tales of fares and such, like most cab drivers do.

Is that your obituary, or are you to be resurrected?

Lol

We know where to find you if ever we require your services? On a rank far, far away from home.

Mr Gedmay, the man who knows all about experts in the Manchester Taxi trade. The man who was so concerned about Airportcarz that he didn't have a clue how to go about remedying the situation, as it turned out neither did any of the so-called experts at Manchester Airport.

All these so called experts had to do was pay a visit to TDO and they would have got the expert advice they were looking for.

Instead the experts employed a greenhorn solicitor who didn't know his azz from elbow and the end result is posted on this website. That's the calibre of Experts they have in Manchester.

Sine die.

All because it was cheaper to go to the Commissioner, than to the court.

And now if they do go to court, the bus people will be able to say that the Traffic Commissioner said we are doing nothing wrong.

Mr T must have taken a real dislike to Mr Cummins because of what he said in Taxi Talk - he keeps on going on about a 'wannabee lawyer'.
