I think it's a good thing, and as long as standards are kept shouldn't effect the trade providing punter numbers remain static.

Actually it's the reverse.

If a de-limited council wants to limit then they must have a survey, else they wont have a defence should someone apply for 100 plates.

A limited council can de-limit providing they consult probably. They need not have a survey.

That's correct, but what I was saying is just because a council has dereg'd it's not the end of it if you have a case to support limiting again :shock: :wink:
