What was it that the STF said about it having nothing to do with Scotland?

As Tom says on another thread, if the powers that be haven't a clue, what chance the lads on the street.

However if there is one thing that I'm determined to do, and that's make sure, or at least try too, that all restricting LAs (as OFT calls them :D ) give a copy of the OFT press release, to all those people who are transferring a plate.

Any LA that allows a transfer, without at least giving the buyer a chance to reflect, would be acting disgracefully.

The sellers might not like it, but not giving the correct information cost Bournemouth £18,000. It will cost other LAs a lot more than that.

the stfa did say it did not involve scotland there are notices in all the offices from them saying so ,dundee tda have also been handing out false information to its members no wonder dundee private hire are walking over them ,the internet is slowly getting the message across that its easy to check the real facts rather than listen to others its just a pity its took so long ,every name on dundees waiting list could have challenged and won a plate but none of them knew about it till now!below is the dundee report on the oft anouncement
