Now all you have to do is get rid of that horror colour scheme of blue and white, what possessed the council to bring it in, in the first place
There are enough court cases where the judge has said the sign on the cab is enough like in York

It must cost owners a small fortune getting the bonnet and boot painted, or are they allowed to use sticky back plastic

I dunno skip, life in taxis would be a lot simplier judged on the basis of people walking like egyptians IMO anyway http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjI4p8_NZVc&feature=related

Those have to be WAV vehciles.

The colour scheme of blue and white is a stupid ideal. Sort of backfires on the them, I mean who the heck wants a vehcile looks like that for exec work,

Then surely PH is the better option for executive work?

A HC would have to have a roof sign on if it were a saloon and working wouldnt it?

not nesscerly, hack no opts licence need, sort of limits your scope of work and moan about it :) on areas out side of brighton no such colour policy etc for eastbourne which is all white colour not a two tone cr~p :)

I have seen a lot in another areas just have a plate on the back without a roof light

Isnt Brighton blighted by out of area HC's?

Surely a distinction is needed?

It does, it also has vehicles all of the same type......cant see that being too popular in Brighton.

I suggest you join / ask your union to sort it out :D
