Concerned taxi drivers in call for a cap on numbers

TAXI drivers in Amber Valley are calling for a cap on the number of licensed cabs in the borough because of fears there are not enough fares to go around.

Firms say they are willing to put their money where their mouths are and pay half the cost of a survey to assess demand among the public.
