Taken from the Independent.

But National Consumer Council chief executive Ed Mayo said: "These proposals are an important milestone with the potential to put more licensed cabs on the road.

"We urge the Department for Transport to change the law and speed the day when no council in England and Wales can restrict the number of cabs.

Now that's what the people, who represent those that pay our bills are saying.

If only those that purport to represent the HC/PH trade, had half as much sense, then I'm certain our trade would be a hell of a lot better off.

I ask, what sort of business goes out of their way, to make it harder for customers to use?

In my opinion, a very stale one.

Speak for yourself mate.

Your trades may need reforming. Mine doesn't.

How do you improve on perfection?

Well you could allow yourselves to have a choice of vehicle.

As for perfection, well if that's what you wish to believe, then so be it.
